Your comment is exactly why I am committi...Phillip,
Your comment is exactly why I am committing to this for the summer because I have the time to do so. Perhaps I'll create a habit that will continue into the madness of a school year. I know I need to do a better job of doing my part to respond to the thinking of others. I can't tell you how many times I read a blog and think "wow" or "I wonder" and then just click out. I'm always amazed by how much is shared on blogs.

I'm always thankful for those readers, like you, who take the time to stop and share their thinking after reading. I can't fix it, but I can work to change my own reading/commenting. This seemed like a good way to get started. I'll throw my stone into the pond and hope it ripples a bit.

CathyCathy Merenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5519338898878388762.post-32350569357871197552014-06-15T12:00:59.934-04:002014-06-15T12:00:59.934-04:00Karen,

(staff meetings?)
Now though, I think the proportions have changed significantly. I wrote a blog post called 1001 Classroom Uses For Minecraft, and it was tweeted well over a 1000 times, Facebook liked over 500, and it had...drum roll please....0 comments.
I just tweeted out a great blog post from my daughter asking for comments. Tweeted it several times, including with the comments4kids hashtag, and got nothing.
I actually tell people if you are blogging for comments, you're going to be disappointed.
